About Me

So this is me. Who am I? Well, I’m a current resident of the state of Indiana. I’m a software engineer at a company north of Indianapolis. I’m an MBA student at Indiana University in Indianapolis. And I’m the “mommy” to an adopted weiner dog named Sophie.

I don’t think I could deny having the label of “geek”, even if I wanted to. Between my occupation writing computer software and web applications and my love for all things Star Wars, I can’t seem to escape it. I’ve never been your typical girl, even growing up… I was always the “smart kid” in class and seemed to have my nose stuck in a book or in front of a computer screen a lot. And such continues today, with me being the only female developer at my company, as well as the only female that joins in our weekly office poker game.

There are quite a lot of facets to my personality, as you will discover if you decide to stick around and browse my website or read my blog.
